Acetylene Alley Metal Art by Mark Crnich
About Acetylene Alley Metal Art by Mark Crnich
Growing up working and helping my father on projects in his garage I developed a love of all things mechanical. This later translated in to welding and fabricating, first with him at home and later in high school metal shop, then in college where I recieved a degree in manufacturing.
For the last 15 years i have studied under and worked with my father, western metal artist Richard Crnich learning the metal sculpture techniques that he has developed and pioneered over the last 30 years.
The golf trophies and sculptures that you see in the portfollio section are all hand welded and one of a kind. They are also mainly made from recycled scrap materials such as mild steel, copper, brass, and alloy metals. Some of my work is also made from scrap parts from things like equipment gear boxes, transmissions, pumps, motors, hydraulic valves, ect.
The colors produced on my work is created by a heating technique developed by my father and uses no patinas. All of my work is 3-D and hand fabricated. Some of my work is also functioal art sculpture. Due to the nature of hand fabricating, differences in metal composition, and availability of scrap materials and scrap parts no two sculptures are the same and each piece is unique.
My goal is to provide my clients with the best and most unique custom trophies and metal sculpture to help them set their event, tournament, awards, or special gift apart from any other trophies or awards out there
No matter if it is 1 or 100 no job is too small or large. Contact me today and let me make your next tournament, event, or special gift stand out from the crowd.
